Terrex assisted the non-profit owner in obtaining $16,000,000 in new financing and $13,000,000 in low income housing tax credits and energy credits to fund a $10,000,000 renovation of the 43 year old complex.
Gabilan Plaza Unit Renovations
Two hundred families were relocated on-site in two week rotations, eight households at a time, while all units were renovated with new cabinets, fixtures, paint, granite counters, & stainless steel appliances in just 6 months.
Gabilan Plaza Energy Efficiency
The site received a new computer learning center, two outdoor recreation areas, water conserving landscaping and irrigation, and a 168KW solar system which provides 100% of the complex's electric needs.
